It's a challenge for Australia to achieve unprecedented feats.

The top summits have already been conquered.

We're talking about the squad that has won seven Cricket World Cups, along with six more T20 titles, and earlier maintained nearly four years without defeat in 50-over cricket.

The remaining milestones, targeted by the peak baggers, are all that remain for a side that has achieved everything.

That it took until Sunday's success by three wickets over India for them to accomplish their maiden ODI chase above 300, reclaiming their record for the highest in women's cricket's 50-over format, is, in truth, a compliment to the bowlers that have worn canary yellow over the past 50 years.

It's difficult for their hitters to maintain a record if not provided the opportunity.

Certain people claim the argument supporting final game tension. Others can counter with the challenge that comes when confronting a historic chase and a raucous India-supporting crowd of 20,000.

What's clear is this century was far harder to see coming.

The New Zealand onslaught in 2022 happened while she was the highest scorer, but this performance came after six matches in India from the beginning of the previous month in which she had been unable to reach 30.

"For those following me in the nets, it has been a challenging time because I feel like my form was missing whatsoever," stated Healy.

"But once you step out on the field, your fighting spirit activate and you simply focus on the match."

Healy's fighting spirit has continuously been her great strength - and an invaluable trait in succeeding legendary former captain Meg Lanning.

She was challenged by India's promising player Kranti Gaud in last month's ODI series, fallen to the young fast bowler in each encounter, but this time it merely gave Healy's inspiration.

One run resulted off Gaud's first delivery and from that point the right-hander was underway.

"A chance to play and face the challenge with her and just have a bit of fun that way, somewhat inspired me," said Healy.

She reached fifty in 35 pitches - her swiftest at the global tournament - and her ton in 84 deliveries while she flogged anything short, hitting 21 fours and three big hits.

By the time she was out the team needed 66 more at run per delivery - an unconquered height now demanding an easy conclusion.

"To chase 330 is uncharted waters so I am glad we have the belief to accomplish that now," added Healy.

"Hopefully we don't have to do it again but, if necessary, we know we can succeed."

That comment will be the ultimate thing Australia's opponents at this championship need to hear.

In recent days a belief they will triumph from any situation has become more firm - this victory succeeding success over Pakistan by 107 run margin despite sitting at 76-7 at a certain moment.

Following this Australia face Bangladesh before an encounter with traditional opponents England in Indore in ten days, by which point a last-four spot may likely be confirmed.

It was in the semi-finals they exited the previous year's T20 World Cup in an unexpected loss by South Africa - a game Healy couldn't play because of damaged tissue in her foot as she led her country for the inaugural occasion at an important competition.

So strong is her resolve, she later said she regretted not playing despite the injury.

However although she later admitted those injuries have postponed plans to retire, this championship is expected to be her last as captain in 50-over cricket and she is yet to win a world championship as captain.
